"Justice" is a novel that examines the ramifications of poor mental health insight and treatment. Through a series of seemingly unrelated stories, "Justice" follows a young man who is destined to find justice for his murdered wife. The protagonist begins his journey in El Salvador, where he meets a Priest who attempts to provide the moral compass for his quest from El Salvador to the Bronx. The stories weave together the tribulations of trauma, bullying, oppression, and institutionalization. Our “hero” seeks justice and revenge for his wife through vigilantism, but are these risks worth the supposed reward? Is this journey all that it presents itself to be? During this journey we encounter this dilemma of what's is morally appropriate versus the thirst for revenge.
